Jonathan Weitzel

Jonathan Weitzel is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as the Electrical Engineering Group Supervisor at Bechtel Corporation since July 2015, having previously held roles including Senior Electrical Engineer and MEP Engineering Group Supervisor. With expertise in managing a team of 18 engineers, Jonathan oversees change document processing and ensures compliance with engineering procedures and quality initiatives. Contributions include developing technical and procurement specifications, conducting training classes, and mentoring junior engineers. Prior experience includes working on design change packages for nuclear plants at Bechtel Power Corporation and addressing technical challenges during an engineering internship at Sunlabob Renewable Energy Ltd. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland.
