Michael Simon

Michael Simon is an experienced Emergency Response Coordinator currently with Bechtel Corporation since June 2023, following a similar role at Zachry Group from February 2022 to June 2023. Prior to these positions, Michael held various safety-related roles at Bechtel Power, including ES&H Night-Shift Lead for Vogtle Units 3&4, and served as a Safety Specialist at Bechtel Oil, Gas, & Chemicals for the Corpus Christi Liquefaction LNG Project. Michael’s background also includes roles at Total Safety US, Inc., Brock Group, and Industrial Rescue Instruction Systems, where responsibilities ranged from safety supervision to emergency response training. Michael's extensive firefighting experience includes serving as Fire Chief with the City of Pinehurst Fire Department and training firefighters in Angola. Michael holds an OSHP in Industrial Safety Technology from OSHAcademy.
