Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson has extensive experience in quality management within the oil, gas, and chemicals sectors, currently serving as Senior Project Quality Manager at Bechtel Corporation since 1996. In this role, Michael oversees the implementation of quality excellence systems across various projects, including the Cameron LNG and Port Arthur Liquefaction Projects, managing quality teams in Houston and internationally. Prior roles at Bechtel include Quality Integration Manager and Manager of Quality Assurance, where responsibilities encompassed leadership and coordination of quality assurance activities, ISO 9001 compliance, and client interfaces. Earlier experience includes assessing quality management systems at Lloyd's Register and managing safety and systems development at BT.
