Sara Barrientos

Sara Barrientos is a Design Manager with over twenty years of experience in design, construction, and quality within power and infrastructure projects. They began their career as a Manufacturing R&D Co-op Student at Boeing and progressed to roles including Mechanical System Engineer at Black & Veatch and APE - Subcontractor Design Manager at Bechtel Corporation. Sara has managed engineering design teams, developed quality management plans, and led Lean Six Sigma initiatives to drive operational improvements. They hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and are a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, focusing on business improvement initiatives.
