Scott Austin

In his role as Power Sector Lead for Bechtel’s Infrastructure and Power business, Scott is responsible for maintaining productive business relationships with key global and regional customers and partners, working with regional based organizations to develop and implement market engagement strategies, collaborating with functional management to develop / maintain core power market talent, and facilitating the assessment / adoption of emerging markets / technologies. As Commercial Manager (Americas), Scott works with proposal teams to structure winning commercial strategies, assists delivery teams with the resolution of commercial issues and provides oversight of projects in the warranty and operations phase.

Over a 30-year career, Scott has held a variety of project execution positions as a cost engineer / estimator, construction field engineer, planner and project manager. Over the last several years, he focused on managing the development of large infrastructure projects in his role as Manager of Business Development, Americas for Bechtel Infrastructure and Power.
