Sicilia C. is an undergraduate student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, pursuing a Bachelor's degree from 2022 to 2026. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UT Center for Advanced Materials & Manufacturing (CAMM) since January 2024, Sicilia is involved in research focused on quantum materials and materials in extreme environments. Additionally, Sicilia holds a Nuclear Engineering Internship at Bechtel Corporation since June 2025 and actively participates as a Student Mentor in the Society of Women Engineers, providing support and guidance to first-year engineering students. Previously, Sicilia was President and Treasurer of the University of Tennessee Chapter of Women in Nuclear and has served as a Student Ambassador for the Department of Nuclear Engineering, representing the program during outreach events. Prior experience includes work in the Chapel Lab, maintaining cancerous cell lines for nuclear medicine research.
