Simon Skinner

Simon Skinner is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in Human Factors, Management Consultancy, and Scientific Management. Simon has held significant roles in various organizations including the Ministry of Defence, Actica Consulting, BAE Systems, and NATS, where responsibilities included user-centered design, human factors leadership, and system ergonomics. Currently, Simon serves as Director at Optima Human Factors and Human Factors Specialist at Bechtel Corporation, focusing on the integration of human considerations in the design of safety-critical systems. Simon holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a BSc Hons in Ergonomics from Loughborough University.
