Stephen Matthews

Stephen Matthews is a seasoned Lead Contracts Engineer with extensive experience in Contracts Management and Administration across the mining, construction, and oil and gas sectors. They have worked both on-shore and off-shore, managing complex contracts related to commodities such as iron ore, diamonds, gold, and copper. Currently serving as a Lead Contracts Specialist at Bechtel Corporation, Stephen focuses on managing the Earthworks package and general services contract for the Parker Point Stockyard Sustaining Project. Their career began in supply chain management, and they have progressively advanced through roles that require significant expertise in tendering, contract management, and team leadership. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University.
