Thad Simmons

Thad Simmons is a dedicated Event Analysis and Performance Improvement professional with over 20 years of experience in incident investigation and performance improvement training. Currently serving as the ES&H Operations Manager at Bechtel Corporation, Thad oversees programs aimed at enhancing worker safety and reducing incidents at a major LNG construction project. Previous roles include Incident Investigation Lead for Talascend International and Program Lead at Bechtel, where Thad developed and managed incident investigation programs. Thad also held various positions in quality assurance and performance improvement across companies such as Duke Energy and Southern Nuclear, as well as owning a small business specializing in root cause investigations and quality program implementation. Thad is currently pursuing a Master of Strategic Leadership at Stephens College.
