Zeyad Hakam

Zeyad Hakam, PhD, PE, PMP, is the General Manager for Bechtel's Public Infrastructure business in California and the West US Region, with a primary focus on rail, aviation, urban development, and communications. They have extensive experience delivering complex engineering and construction projects and have held various leadership roles within Bechtel, including Commercial Operations Manager and Consortium Commercial Director for the Riyadh Metro Project. Zeyad earned a PhD in Structural Engineering from Drexel University, along with multiple degrees in Civil and Construction Engineering. They are a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and have contributed to significant infrastructure projects, including nuclear and power plants, transmission lines, and fiber-to-the-home buildouts.
