Claudius Schaufler

Claudius Schaufler is an experienced professional in the field of Smart Urban Environments and Public Sector Innovations, currently serving as the Head of Public Sector Innovations and Head of Smart City at Bechtle since October 2021. Prior to this role, Claudius worked at Fraunhofer IAO as the Head of Competence Team Smart Urban Environments and a Research Fellow, focusing on transformation research and technology management. Experience includes research positions at the University of Stuttgart and contributions as a Foresight Analyst at Z_punkt The Foresight Company. Additional internships and roles at AUDI AG, Siemens, Polarstern Energie, and other organizations have provided a solid foundation in sustainability, renewable energies, and strategic foresight. Claudius holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Urbanism from UCL and a Bachelor of Arts in International Energymanagement from Karlshochschule International University, complemented by international education experiences in business administration and sustainability.
