Markus Roth

Markus Roth is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in systems engineering, currently serving as a Senior System Ingenieur at Bechtle since September 1996. Expertise includes the design and implementation of OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization technologies (VMware, Xen, KVM), and Linux systems (RedHat, SuSE), as well as SAN and storage virtualization using IBM SAN Volume Controller and Datacore. Prior to this role, Markus held positions as a Projekt-Ingenieur at Aberle Steuerungstechnik GmbH, focusing on SPS programming for control systems, and as an Entwicklungs-Ingenieur at Bälz automatic GmbH, where the development of UNIX-based building management software was undertaken. Markus holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Electrical Engineering from Hochschule Heilbronn and is also trained as a Meß- und Regelmechaniker.
