Rob Brown has over 18 years of experience in various business development and sales roles. Rob began their career as a Sales Executive for Farm Progress Co. Feedstuffs, Heartland Communications Group in 1999 and worked there until 2006. In 2006, they briefly served as the Managing Editor for Acreage Magazine before transitioning to their role as the Owner of Robert Brown/JB Holdings from 1983 to 2007. In 2009, they joined MachineryLink, Inc. as a Business Development Executive, a position they held until 2011. During this time, they negotiated contracts, organized company events, and managed the procurement process. From 2011 to 2015, Rob worked as a Business Development Specialist for Environmental Tillage Systems, Inc., where they focused on expanding the business by strengthening relationships with farmers, retailers, and industry professionals. Since 2015, they have been employed at Beck Ag, Inc. as a Market Specialist, responsible for delivering protocol requirements and real-world trial data for market positioning prior to product launch. Throughout their career, Rob has demonstrated expertise in driving revenue growth and increasing company visibility.
Rob Brown has pursued executive education at the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business, where they obtained certificates in Advanced Business Negotiation. Rob also has a background in Agriculture from Iowa State University. In addition to their formal education, Rob has obtained various certifications such as Certified Agile, Certified Jira, Certified Product Manager, Certified Project Management, and Certified Scrum from Udemy.
