Michael Klein

Michael Klein has extensive work experience in the field of purchasing and procurement. Michael is currently serving as the Head of Strategic Purchasing (ad interim) at Gebr. Becker GmbH since March 2023. Prior to this position, they held the role of Head of Team Purchasing Castings / Mechanics at the same company starting from April 2021. Before joining Gebr. Becker GmbH, Michael worked at Thyssenkrupp Bilstein GmbH as a Global Commodity Manager from January 2017 to June 2018. Michael also gained experience as a Commodity Buyer at BÖCO Böddecker&CO. GmbH& Co. KG from November 2011 to December 2016. Their early career includes positions at Edscha, where they worked as a Project Buyer from April 2008 to October 2011 and in Project- and Information Management from August 2006 to April 2008.

Michael Klein completed their education at various institutions. From 2010 to 2013, they attended Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola and earned a Master of Science degree in Technische Betriebswirtschaft. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2009, they also studied at Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Technische BWL / Maschinenbau. Lastly, they attended Friedrich-List-Berufskolleg Solingen from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a degree in Industriekaufmann.
