Aimy Tan

Aimy Tan serves as the Learning and Development Manager at BECU since September 2022, where responsibilities include leading strategic training initiatives, designing and delivering division-wide training programs, and enhancing on-the-job training effectiveness through collaboration with various leadership levels. Prior to this role, Aimy spent nearly a decade with the Bellevue School District, primarily as an Instructional Facilitator, developing extensive training curricula to promote professional growth, implementing improvement cycles, and mentoring novice educators. Aimy's educational background includes a Master of Education in Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Teaching, both from the University of Washington. Aimy's work has been recognized with the Symetra Hero of the Classroom Award for contributions to equitable teaching practices and community outreach.
