Ava Dubno

Ava Dubno, MSF, CPA, CIA, CISA is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial controls and compliance. Currently serving as the Director of Financial Controls at BECU since October 2018, Ava oversees the design and implementation of the organization's Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) program. Prior to this role, Ava was Vice President and SOX Internal Controls Senior Manager at HomeStreet Bank, where the establishment and management of the bank’s SOX compliance program took place. Early career experience includes data quality management and compliance operations at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle, as well as roles in accounting and auditing across various organizations. Ava holds a Master of Science in Finance from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Washington University.
