Kathy Rose

Kathy Rose, CISM, CRISC, CRVPM, CCMP, NCCO, has extensive experience in risk management and governance, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Vendor Risk & Governance at BECU since October 2016. In this role, Kathy oversees the vendor management function for the Legal Department, focusing on enhancing governance policies and ensuring alignment with the organization's risk appetite. Prior to this, Kathy worked as a Risk Administrator at Kitsap Credit Union, where responsibilities included monitoring emerging risks and conducting assessments. Earlier positions include Operational Risk Manager at Frontier Bank, where Kathy established frameworks for mitigating operational risk, and Data Security Consultant at Bank of America, providing expertise in security management systems. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Information Technology and Administrative Management from Central Washington University and an Associate of Technical Arts in Computer Programming and Business Administration from Everett Community College.
