Joseph Codispoti has extensive experience in intellectual property law and management. Joseph is currently serving as the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at BEDGEAR, where they oversee the protection of the company's innovative products and brands portfolio. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Intellectual Property Rights Management at Ropes & Gray LLP, leading a team of 50+ paralegals in providing IP services for filing, prosecution, transactions, and litigation. Before that, they founded and operated their own law practice, where they provided legal and IP counseling to a range of clients. Early in their career, Joseph worked at Siemens Corporation, starting as an IP attorney and eventually becoming an Associate Chief IP Counsel, leading a team of attorneys and IP professionals. Their responsibilities included rendering legal advice, developing IP strategy, managing global IP portfolios, handling IP litigation, conducting M&A due diligence, and negotiating contracts.

Joseph Codispoti completed their Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEEE) degree in the field of Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College, where they studied from 1975 to 1979. Joseph then pursued their Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law from Fordham University School of Law, where they attended from 1980 to 1984.
