Joe Hornsby

Joe Hornsby has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Joe was the Chief Financial Officer at Beechglen Development since 2011. Prior to that, they worked at KPMG for four years from 2007 to 2011, where they gained experience in advisory and tax professional services. Joe also completed a rotation at the KPMG office in Honolulu. Before joining KPMG, they worked at Ernst & Young in 2005 in the Assurance Services department. Joe Hornsby began their career as a Supplemental Instructor at Miami University Farmer School of Business from 2002 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor and Masters degree in Accounting and Business Management. During this time, they mentored and tutored several accountancy classes, led exam review sessions, and coached students in effective study strategies.

Joe Hornsby holds a Master's Degree in MAcc from Miami University Farmer School of Business, with a focus on Business/Management, Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Sustainability. Joe also completed a study abroad program in International Business at Regent's University London. Joe's undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from Miami University Farmer School of Business, with a specialization in Accounting and Business/Management. Joe completed their high school education at St. Xavier High School. Joe has obtained certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from both the State of Ohio and the State of Hawaii. Joe also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification from the AICPA.
