Rick Pudner is the Chairman of the Board at Beehive UAE. They spent 25 years with HSBC, ending as CEO of HSBC Korea, and eight years as Group CEO of Emirates NBD based in Dubai, during which they led the merger of Emirates Bank International with National Bank of Dubai in 2007 to form the largest bank in the Middle East by assets and oversaw the 2011 acquisition of Dubai Bank and the 2012 acquisition of BNP's Egyptian operations. They worked in Hong Kong, Korea, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Vanuatu. They earned a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton (1975–1978).
