Beehive School, a private co-educational primary school was founded in 1986 by Ms Latifat Dosunmu, a British trained and seasoned educationist. Originally situated along high brow Adeniyi Jones Avenue in Ikeja Lagos, the school relocated to its permanent site within the serene Central Business District of Ikeja, Alausa in 1996.
The strength of the school lies in its dedicated, highly qualified and trained core staff and a vibrant and effective partnership with parents and other stakeholders.
The school is open to all children irrespective of race, nationality, tribe, religion or creed. There are three levels in the school namely Crèche, Nursery and Primary.
A Beehive school pupil is not only adequately prepared to pass common entrance examinations into quality local and foreign secondary schools but also amply equipped with drive, a sense of mission and other attributes necessary for self-actualization and fulfilment in the future.

Since its founding more than thirty years ago, the fundamental mission policy of the school has been to provide the child with the unique education that brings out the best in him/her intellectually, emotionally, physically, morally and indeed spiritually
