Ryan Simms

Ryan Simms has a diverse work history in various roles within the technology and creative industries. Ryan began their career as a Graduate Assistant at The Peabody Conservatory of Music in 2002, before moving on to work as a Multimedia Designer at Impressions on Hold from 2003 to 2005. Simms then worked as an Audio-Visual Technician at Presentation Services from 2003 to 2004. In 2004, they joined Radio Tag as a Creative & Technical Director, where they were responsible for video production, website design, graphic design, and radio spot production. Simms also designed recording studios and a functional database for the company during their tenure. In 2005, they briefly worked as a Chief Recording Engineer / Assistant at Electric Lady Studios, followed by a role as an Assistant Recording Engineer at The Hit Factory Studios from mid-2004 to early 2005. Since 2013, Simms has been working as a Senior Software Developer at Beezwax Datatools, Inc.

Ryan Simms completed their Bachelor of Science at James Madison University from 1997 to 2001. Ryan concentrated in audio and video as part of the Media Arts & Design program. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts in Recording and Acoustics at the Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2003.
