Lena has 25 years of experience building and managing software products, platforms, and teams. She is passionate about providing a stable, excellent, and safe user experience. At Meetup, Lena was the VP of Platform Engineering and Enterprise Technology, responsible for stabilizing and securing Meetup's legacy systems while creating a new platform to iterate on and bring Meetup to the next level. She spent 12 years at Vitech, serving in a chief architect role developing customizable products for Public Pension Funds, Alternative Asset Management (PE, Hedge), and the Insurance industry. Before that, Lena worked as a consultant with the New York Board of Education, developing its performance-based budget system and with AT&T creating a variety of systems. Lena Studied and graduated from programs related to Digital Electronics and Microprocessor Architecture.
