Mikaela B.

Mikaela B. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mikaela is currently employed as a Senior Product Designer at BEGiN since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at KidPass where they held the positions of Lead Product Designer from June 2020 to August 2021 and UX Designer from September 2018 to June 2020. Mikaela also has experience as a Freelance Designer during June 2018 to August 2018 and as a Designer at The Brown Daily Herald, Inc. from September 2017 to January 2018. Mikaela served as the Director of Startup Resources at the Brown University Entrepreneurship Program from September 2016 to September 2017. Mikaela gained valuable internship experience at Vaudeville Ventures as a Design Intern in 2017, at Magnetic Software as a UX Design Intern in 2016, and at Venture for America as an Operations Intern in 2015. Additionally, they have participated in Design for America as a Project Member from September 2016 to January 2017 and in the Innovation Dojo, Brown University Entrepreneurship Program as a Director from May 2015 to May 2016, a Leadership Team Member from December 2014 to May 2015, and as a Participant from September 2014 to December 2014. Mikaela B. completed their education in a chronological manner. Mikaela attended the High School for Math, Science and Engineering @ CCNY from 2010 to 2014 and graduated as the valedictorian. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, in 2016, they attended iXperience for a short period, where they focused on UX Design.
