Sachin Maharjan

Sachin Maharjan's work experience includes a Director of Engineering role at BEGiN since 2022 and a previous role as the Director of Engineering at Little Passports, which was acquired by BEGiN. In this role, they led the strategy for the subscription platform that powers Little Passports and managed the engineering group responsible for various tech aspects of the company. Prior to that, Sachin worked as a Senior Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer at Little Passports, where they also contributed to the company's tech operations. Before joining Little Passports, Sachin served as a Lead Software Engineer at Blurb from 2015 to 2018. Sachin was also a Co-Founder of Day Digs from 2014 to 2018. These experiences were preceded by a role as a Software Engineer at Rally.org from 2008 to 2015, where they developed client-facing websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Additionally, Sachin worked as a Web Application Developer (Contract) at Students of the World in 2014, where they contributed to the full implementation of a web application. Sachin started their career as a Graduate Assistant/Hardware Lab Instructor at Texas State University in 2007 and later worked as a Programmer Analyst III at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board from 2006 to 2007, where they developed various applications and databases using .NET languages and SQL.

Sachin Maharjan completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Truman State University from 2001 to 2003. Sachin then pursued higher education at Louisiana Tech University and obtained another Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from 2003 to 2005. After that, they attended Texas State University, where they earned their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from 2007 to 2008.
