Suraj Jain

Suraj Jain has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Suraj is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategy & Corporate Development at BEGiN since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Corporate Development at BEGiN from September 2020 to December 2021. Suraj also served as the Senior Director of Product Growth and Interim Co-Head of Product at HOMER from 2019 to 2020 and as the Director of Product Growth at HOMER from 2014 to 2018.

Before joining BEGiN and HOMER, Suraj worked as a Product Marketing Manager and Partnerships Manager at Speakaboos from 2014 to 2017. Suraj also had a stint at ClassPass in 2014 as a Finance & Operations Manager, where they successfully managed day-to-day financial operations and implemented various HR and operational procedures.

Prior to that, Suraj gained experience as a Freelance Operations & Recruiting Associate at HowAboutWe in 2013 and as the Co-Founder and Head of Product at FinLit.com from 2012 to 2013. At FinLit.com, they played a crucial role in launching and leading the financial education startup.

Suraj started their career as a Financial Analyst at Houlihan Lokey in 2009 and worked there until 2012. During their time at Houlihan Lokey, they focused on financial restructuring and gained experience in various financial analysis and modeling tasks. Suraj also had a summer internship at Houlihan Lokey in 2008.

Prior to entering the corporate world, Suraj gained leadership experience as a Staff Member at the Virginia Beach Leadership Workshop in 2005. Suraj also had a management internship at GEICO in 2007.

Suraj Jain received their Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce with a Concentration in Finance and Management from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Princess Anne High School.
