Julien Derveeuw

Julien Derveeuw has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Julien currently holds the position of Head of Technology at Behaviour Interactive since November 2022. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Technical Director from January 2020 to December 2022 and as a Technical Director from February 2018 to January 2020 at the same company.

Before joining Behaviour Interactive, Julien owned and served as the Technical Director of Warp Dome since June 2016. From January 2013 to June 2016, they worked at Ankama Canada, firstly as a Technical Director and later as a Studio co-Manager and Founder. Before that, they held the positions of Technical Lead from November 2008 to January 2013 and DevOps on-call duty from March 2011 to August 2012 at Ankama Canada. Julien also served as a Lead AI Programmer and R&D Engineer from November 2007 to November 2008.

Julien started their career as a Junior Lecturer at the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology from September 2004 to October 2007.

Julien Derveeuw earned a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology in 2004. Julien then pursued a PhD in Computer Sciences, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Multi Agents Systems, which they completed from the same university in 2007.
