Mark Parent

Mark Parent is a Research Scientist at Facebook Reality Labs, specializing in human factor engineering, neurophysiology, machine learning, and human-machine interfaces. They hold a Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and a Bachelor of Engineering in mechanical engineering. Mark has extensive experience, having previously worked as a data scientist in neuroergonomics and predictive policing, as well as a research scientist in various organizations. In addition to their role at Meta from 2020 to 2024, they co-founded Chatham Labs and served as a Senior User Research Specialist at Behaviour Interactive. Mark's versatile skill set includes scientific project management, engineering, and programming.
