Aleksei Shishkin

Aleksei Shishkin has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Aleksei started their career at Invenology as a System Administrator and QA, where they performed server administration and managed repositories and backup servers. Aleksei then joined Svyaznoy as a DevOps Engineer, supporting OpenStack and VMware vCloud-based private clouds, conducting maintenance operations and troubleshooting. After that, they worked at ITKey as a Senior OpenStack Engineer, designing and implementing OpenStack-based solutions for enterprise customers and banks. Aleksei then joined Mirantis as an OpenStack Escalations Engineer, providing expert support services for customers during cloud outages, troubleshooting complex issues, and performing bug fixes and patches. Following that, Aleksei worked at Netcracker as a Senior Software/DevOps Engineer, leading the development of a PaaS solution for SDN and NFV products. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Site Reliability Engineering at Behavox, overseeing four teams focused on SRE, cloud automation, security operations, and customer support. Aleksei leads a team of 35 contributors and 3 managers and is responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of Behavox's products.

Aleksei Shishkin obtained a Specialist degree in Information Technology from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics, and Informatics (MESI) from 2008 to 2014. Aleksei also holds a certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA: Security) from Microsoft, obtained in 2007.
