Santosh Kumar

Santosh Kumar has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Santosh is currently the VP of Engineering at Behavox, a position they have held since 2021. Prior to that, Santosh worked at Microsoft for over 16 years in various roles. Santosh was a Principal Group Engineering Manager at Office 365 Groups & Yammer, leading teams in building collaboration experiences and services for Outlook and Yammer. Santosh also served as a Principal Software Engineer at Office 365 Groups, where they led the development of the Outlook Groups mobile app on multiple platforms. Santosh has a strong background in security, having worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the Office 365 Security Team, where they designed and implemented a solution to contain lateral movement of attackers. Santosh also made significant contributions to the Exchange Core Engineering Infrastructure, designing systems and tools to enhance product development. Additionally, they participated in the Marco Polo Talent Rotation Program at Microsoft China, mentoring junior developers and implementing pattern-oriented design techniques in the Exchange Manageability server stack.

Santosh Kumar earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Santosh then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at Texas A&M University from 2002 to 2004.
