Lai Wang is a seasoned professional in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Global Head of Research and Development at BeiGene since May 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing Global Research, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, and APAC Clinical Development. Prior to this role, Lai Wang held various leadership positions at Joyant Pharmaceuticals, including Director of Research and Director of Biology, from June 2008 to April 2011. Experience also includes a significant tenure as a Research Scientist at HHMI/UT Southwestern from 2001 to 2008. Lai Wang earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UT Health San Antonio (1997-2001) and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Fudan University (1991-1996).
