Being is St Albans' first float therapy centre, opening in 2026.

We offer three services: float therapy, infrared sauna, and therapeutic massage.

Float therapy is what we're known for. You lie in a lightproof, soundproof pool filled with 500kg of Epsom salts.

The salt makes you completely buoyant, so you float without effort. The water is heated to skin temperature. In the absence of light, sound, and gravity, your nervous system finally gets permission to stop. Everyone leaves slower than they arrived.

Research backs it up. Float therapy reduces cortisol, improves sleep quality, and relieves chronic pain. It's used in Premier League training facilities, Olympic recovery programmes, and chronic pain clinics. We're bringing it to Hertfordshire.

Infrared sauna works differently to traditional saunas. The heat penetrates deeper, reduces inflammation, and supports muscle recovery without the intense ambient temperature.

Therapeutic massage handles the rest. Targeted bodywork for people carrying tension in their shoulders, lower back, or anywhere else stress likes to settle.

St Albans is full of people who commute to London, train hard, work long hours, or juggle family life on limited sleep. Recovery usually means a weekend lie-in. We think there's a better option.
