Olaf Smale has extensive experience in quality control and technical management across several companies in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as the Manager QC / Technical Manager at Brand Offshore International since February 2019, Olaf previously held similar managerial positions at Venko by BrandSafway and Venko Groep B.V., where responsibilities included overseeing health, safety, environment, and quality for all subsidiaries in the Netherlands and the UK. Prior roles include Operations Manager at Venko Offshore B.V., HSEQ Manager at PSIBouw, and Project Lead at Bouwdienst Rijkswaterstaat, among others. Olaf holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Saxion University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Commercial Technical Business Administration and Chemical Engineering with a focus on Coating Technology.
