Laurens Kroon

Laurens Kroon is the Head of Research at Bejo Zaden, where they focus on advancing R&D activities both domestically and internationally. They previously held the position of Senior Researcher at Bejo Zaden BV from 2005 to 2012 and worked as a researcher at Plant Research International from 1999 to 2004. In addition, Laurens is currently a member of the Committee on Intellectual Property and Breeders Rights at the European Seed Association since 2013 and served as a groepscommandant for Koninklijke Landmacht NATRES from 1999 to 2012. Laurens earned a Doctorate in Phytopathology, Molecular Biology, and Phylogenetics from Wageningen Universiteit en Researchcentrum in 2010 and completed a Foundations of Management programme at Nyenrode Business University in 2015.
