Bart Allaert holds a Doctorate in Science, Chemistry, and a Master's in Chemistry from Ghent University, where studies were completed from 1997 to 2007. Bart Allaert began a career as a PhD researcher at UGent from 2003 to 2008 before joining Bekaert, where a progressive career unfolded. From 2008 to 2012, Bart served as R&I manager for Corrosion and metallic coatings, followed by a role as Lab manager in the Chemical lab. From October 2012 to October 2021, Bart managed a small team as Labmanager of the electrochemical & corrosion lab, overseeing various projects related to corrosion.
