Seppo Parvi

Seppo Parvi is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Bekaert, overseeing financial controlling, reporting, tax, investor relations, internal audit, enterprise risk management, and treasury since November 2024. Additionally, Seppo serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Ilmarinen, chairing the Audit and Risk Management Committee since 2021 and has been involved with the committee since 2018. Seppo's extensive experience includes previous roles as Vice Chair of the Board at Pohjolan Voima and Chief Financial Officer at Stora Enso, where responsibilities included group accounting, treasury, risk management, and investor relations. Seppo also chaired the Board of the Finnish Forest Industries Federation from January 2021 to December 2023 and has held various board positions in other organizations. Seppo holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Vaasa, earned between 1985 and 1989.
