Stefano Meloni has extensive experience in management and engineering within the manufacturing sector. Starting as an Assistant Maintenance Manager at Bridgestone Metalpha from 1997 to 2000, Meloni progressed to roles at Bridgestone as Maintenance Manager and Technical Director from 2000 to 2004, overseeing large teams in maintenance and engineering. From 2010 to 2015, Meloni served as Technical Director at Bekaert, managing engineering, maintenance, and IT departments. Currently, Meloni holds the position of Plant Manager and Managing Director at Bekaert Sardegna S.p.A. since September 2019, while also contributing as a member of the Board of Directors. Additional leadership roles include serving as Presidente of the Federmeccanica Sardegna Meridionale for Confindustria from June 2021 to May 2023, and managing critical projects for Bekaert in the ERMEA region. Meloni holds an electrical engineering degree from Università degli Studi di Cagliari and is certified as an ISO 50001 Lead Auditor and Energy Manager.
