Tom Blancke

Tom Blancke started their work experience as a Student at Hogeschool Gent from 2007 to 2011. Tom then worked as a Trainee at Centrum voor Ondernemen in 2011. In the same year, they had a Summer job at Corilus. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Auditor at KPMG Belgium, specializing in auditing SMEs, non-profit organizations, public companies, NGOs, and European institutions. Tom then became an Audit Supervisor at KPMG Belgium from 2013 to 2015. Tom Blancke joined Groep Van Heyghen Staal in 2015 as a Group Financial Controller, and later became the Head of Finance and Accounting Department from 2017 to 2019. Currently, Tom is working at BekaertDeslee since 2019, first as the Group Controller Americas, and currently as the Finance Director EMENA.

Tom Blancke attended HOGENT from 2007 to 2011, where they pursued a Master's degree in Commercial Science with a specialization in Finance & Risk Management.
