Principal and founder at Belarc

Sumin Tchen is the principal and founder of Belarc, a position held since 1998, specializing in software license management, IT asset and configuration management, and IT security compliance. Prior to this, Sumin Tchen founded Eliza Corp, which focused on voice recognition technology, serving from 1984 to 1987, and also served as CEO and founder of Computer Controls Corp. from 1976 to 1984, where digital building control systems were developed. Academically, Sumin Tchen holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cornell University and a Master's degree from the Sloan School at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
