Maz Aslam

Maz Aslam is an experienced IT Security Manager with over 20 years of extensive practical experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security, particularly within the Financial Services sector. They successfully built and led the IT Security function at the West Bromwich Building Society, implementing key security monitoring tools and fostering a robust IT Security culture. Currently, Maz serves as an Information Security Consultant at Belcan International, where they manage Information Security across Europe and India. Maz holds several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and various Microsoft certifications, and is pursuing a BSc (Hons) in Computing from Birmingham City University.
