Brad Pope

Brad Pope has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Brad started their career at Belden in 1986 as a Senior Project and Development Engineer, where they led product design and development projects. Brad later became a Product Engineering Manager, managing product and specification engineering, as well as providing engineering support during facility closures and start-ups. Brad also worked as a Wireless Sales Engineer and Support, providing technical knowledge and support for pre and post-sales.

In 2008, they joined Trapeze Networks, a Belden Division, as a Federal Sales Manager, responsible for developing a sales program to penetrate the Government and Military market. Brad achieved $1 million in wireless sales in the 4th quarter of 2008 and initiated product certifications for military test and evaluation programs.

Brad then worked at Gepco/Isotec - General Cable as a Director of Technical Services - Product & Process Engineering. Brad also served as an Engineering Team Leader before joining SnapAV as a Category Manager.

Brad returned to General Cable in 2014 as an Operations Manager and later transitioned to the role of Field Application Engineer. Brad joined Belden Inc. in 2016 and initially served as a Product Engineering Manager. Brad is currently the Director of Cable R&D at the company.

Brad Pope earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer & Electronic Technology from Indiana State University, where they attended from 1982 to 1986. In 2008, they also obtained a CWNA certification in Certified Wireless Network Administration from CWNP.
