Chang began a career in project engineering at PrimusTech Pte Ltd, managing structured cabling systems for significant projects like the Woodlands Health Campus, and later at MQ Communications Pte Ltd, supporting project planning and communication. Chang completed an Industrial Attachment Programme at Renesas Semiconductor Singapore Pte. Ltd. and holds a Bachelor of Business in International Business and Management from Murdoch University, as well as a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Nanyang Polytechnic.
