Frederic Avondts has extensive experience in the finance sector, currently serving in multiple senior advisory roles at Belfius since October 2012, focusing on specialised finance in real estate and corporate lending, particularly in shipping finance and export finance. Prior to this, Frederic held key positions at Dexia, including Principal Risk Manager and Head of Research Team, and served as a Principal Bank & Insurance Analyst at Dexia Bank België. Frederic began a career in finance at ING Belgium as a Credit Analyst before transitioning to a client management role. Frederic holds a Master's degree in International Politics from the University of Antwerp, obtained in 1995.
