Luc Leonard

Luc Leonard is an accomplished professional in the field of risk management and model validation, currently serving as a Member of the Risk Executive Committee and Head of Model Risk & Model Validation at Belfius since April 2012. With a robust background that includes rebuilding a Model Validation team and regaining the trust of regulatory bodies, Luc previously led various teams at Dexia from May 2000 to March 2012, holding roles such as Head of Model Validation and Head of Quantitative Risk Research. Luc's career also includes positions as a Research Engineer at ATSM, various roles at Crédit Communal, and a Research Assistant role while pursuing a PhD in Engineering at the University of Liège, complemented by an earlier degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university.
