Philippe Thonnard

Philippe Thonnard has extensive experience in project management and IT within the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of Project Office AI-Data-Corporate Services at Belfius since July 2006, focusing on data projects related to risk and finance. Philippe has also led the Project Office of Customer Transactions Services, overseeing client operations and regulatory initiatives, and previously managed the Control & Support Financial Markets team. Prior to his current role, Philippe worked as a Senior Project Manager and Head of IT Financial Markets at Belfius (formerly Dexia Banque Belgium), where significant contributions included transitioning to IFRS standards and harmonizing front-to-back systems. Philippe began his career as an IT analyst and project manager at Canon, IBS, and Crédit Communal-Dexia after earning a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université libre de Bruxelles.
