Thomas Cornelis is an experienced project manager and consultant with a strong background in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as Project Manager for Insurance Projects at Belfius since August 2022, Thomas has previously held positions at Monitor Deloitte, where as a Senior Strategy Consultant, Thomas led business restructuring projects for a leading Dutch bank and defined growth strategies for a French Impact Investing firm. Prior experience includes managing customer portfolios and digitization projects at Initio, as well as roles at EY and Belfius that involved financial analysis and valuation in the insurance space. Thomas holds a Master’s Degree in Business Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the same institution, complemented by studies at USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
