Belgingur´s core expertise is in down-scaling and optimizing weather forecasts according to local topography, land-use and weather patterns, making its approach particularly suitable for complex terrain. Belgingur has developed proprietary technology to improve the efficiency and scalability of forecast computation, resulting in greater flexibility and responsiveness for the user. Belgingur´s team of experts have many years of experience collaborating with leading international meteorological organizations in meteorological research and development.

Our meteorological services have been tailored to meet the demanding needs of hydro-, wind- and solar-power production applications, agriculture industry, construction sector and emergency rescue agencies. We work together with national meteorology agencies from different countries to improve their products and social communications, delivering meteorological information to local citizens and industries in an intelligible and precise manner.

Belgingur's software solutions form the back-bone of the operational services of the Instituto Nacional de Meteorologia e Geofisica (INMG) in Cabo Verde (http://www.inmg-wod.org) and the Seychelles Meteorological Authority (SMA - http://syn.meteo.gov.sc). This forecasting system is available upon request, either as a turn-key solution, or to be run in-house on our clusters in Iceland, powered by carbon neutral green energy.
