Michael Trivett is an experienced retail professional with a strong background in merchandise planning and buying. Since October 2012, Michael has served in various roles at Belk, including Vice President of Planning for Men's and Vice President of Planning for RTW Categories, overseeing a $42M+ area of responsibility. Prior to this, Michael worked at Total Wine & More as Promotions Manager, leading a team to create marketing plans for a $1.2B retail operation. Earlier experience includes positions at Belk and HOBO International, where responsibilities ranged from managing significant merchandise volumes to overseeing inventory forecasting. Michael began a career in retail buying at Hecht's Department Store and holds a BS in Economics from the University of Mary Washington.
