Chad Hebert

Chad Hebert is a seasoned structural dynamics engineer currently serving as a Staff Engineer in the Innovation group at Bell Flight since September 2021, where responsibilities include developing new concepts and advanced technologies for vertical flight. Prior to this role, Chad spent over 14 years at Sierra Nevada Corporation as a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer, leading a multi-site team on the DreamChaser Space Transportation System and establishing expertise in structural dynamics. Previous experience includes a Senior Engineer position at NextGen Aeronautics, focusing on multidisciplinary engineering in aerospace R&D, and serving as Lead Dynamics Project Engineer at Wyle Laboratories, where Chad specialized in advanced vibration and shock testing methodologies for aerospace applications. Chad holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
