David Day

David Day is an experienced engineering professional with a career at Bell Helicopter spanning from 1978 to the present, holding various positions related to manufacturing engineering and program coordination. Currently, David serves as the Build Team Lead for the 609 Blade build and as a Principle Engineer supporting the 609 program alongside Agusta Westland, which includes conducting tool audits in Japan. During the earlier part of David's career at Bell, notable contributions included the acquisition of tools for the Repair and Overhaul Center to enhance repair turnaround times for military customers, leading manufacturing engineering projects, and coordinating various helicopter programs, including the Model 407 and the transition of the 206L Model.
